Yellowstone has become one of the biggest surprise cable TV drama hits of the last few years. The show, which premiered on the Paramount Network in 2018, is now in its third season and has well over three million viewers who watch new episodes live. However, many people would still like to watch Yellowstone on Netflix or Hulu, as they prefer the freedom to binge-watch episodes whenever they want. So can you watch Yellowstone on Netflix or Hulu? What is the series all about?
The series itself centers on the extended members of the Dutton family of ranchers in the US West. They own and operate the fictional Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, which is supposed to be the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. The series shows the many challenges the Dutton family deals with as they try to keep the ranch going, from government regulations to Native American issues and encroachment from land developers.
The series stars Kevin Costner in his first regular TV series role after a long career starring in movies like The Untouchables, Field of Dreams, Dances with Wolves, and more. He plays John Dutton, the current patriarch of the Dutton family. Other cast members include Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, and Gil Birmingham.
