Score $100 off the XGIMI MoGo 4 portable projector

Backyard movie nights and travel-friendly streaming setups are a lot more fun when you don’t have to drag around a full-size projector. The XGIMI MoGo 4 is built for that kind of grab-and-go use, and there’s a solid deal on Amazon right now.

The projector is down to $399, which is $100 off its $499 retail price. That’s a 20% discount relative to the RRP. It has only been cheaper than this once, so while this isn’t the lowest price we’ve seen this year, it’s still one of the better chances to pick it up for less.

The XGIMI MoGo 4 is a portable 1080p DLP projector with a built-in battery, so it’s made for casual movie nights, trips, and rooms where you don’t want a fixed setup. It delivers 450 ISO lumens and supports image sizes ranging from around 40 inches to 200 inches. That makes it a better fit for darker spaces, where you can really enjoy the Full HD picture.

It also comes with Google TV and built-in licensed Netflix, so you can start streaming without hooking up another box or stick. For sound, you get dual 6W Harman Kardon speakers, and the unit can also operate in speaker or ambient-light modes. XGIMI says the battery lasts about 2.5 hours of video playback in Eco mode, and the built-in stand plus auto-adjustment features help make setup quicker when you’re moving from place to place.
