Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 hits India on April 27

On April 27, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 goes on sale in India with no registration required. The Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi Power Bank are also included in the registration-free sale.

If you’re in India, you might want to circle April 27 and make sure you have a fistful of cash at 2 pm local time, because that’s when the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 goes on sale in the sub-continent. Unlike Amazon, which still requires registration for the sale, the sale via Xiaomi’s own web portal is marked as “no registration required”.

Both versions of the Redmi Note 3 will be available: the version with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB ROM for Rs 9,999 or the 3 GB/32 GB version for Rs 11,999. Both phones have that awesome 4,000 mAh battery, full metal housing, fingerprint scanner, 5.5-inch Full HD display and Snapdragon 650 with Adreno 510 GPU. Mi Protect is also available for Rs 375.

Xiaomi Mi 5-16

Besides the Redmi Note 3, the 20,000 mAh Mi Power Bank and the excellent Xiaomi Mi 5 will also be included in the registration-free sale. The Mi Power Bank will set you back Rs 1,699 and the Mi 5 costs 24,999.

All you need to do to pick up one of these devices is register on if you haven’t already, sign in and make sure you proceed straight through to the checkout as items in the cart are not reserved until paid for.
