Whether it’s Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, OnePlus, or Huawei, many flagship smartphones offer both wired and wireless charging solutions. And both options have made major strides in terms of charging speeds and efficiency.
Which camp do you fall into though? Do you find yourself using wired charging more or do you simply prefer a wireless pad? Let us know which one you use more via our poll below.
One of the biggest reasons to use wired charging is that it tends to be way faster than wireless charging. In fact, it’s not uncommon to find phones that can be fully charged via a cable in way under an hour. Wired charging also historically has a reputation for being more efficient.
Wireless charging is very convenient though, as you don’t need to fiddle with a cable. All you need to do is set your phone down on the charging pad and you’re good to go. Wireless speeds do tend to lag behind wired charging speeds, but a few recent devices are stepping things up here (e.g. Xiaomi Mi 11 series).
Give us your preference by answering the poll further up the page and do elaborate in the comments if you’ve got more to say.
