The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Verizon Galaxy Note 4 has finally arrived. Coming a full five months after the update from Sprint, three months after T-Mobile and a month and a half after AT&T, its arrival goes to show just how long carrier updates can take.

The Verizon update to software version LMY47X.N910VVRU2BOK3 adds Android for Work support, upgrades the Knox platform and removes pre-installed Amazon bloatware. It also delivers the usual bug fixes and security updates.

As always, the update will arrive OTA but the impatient can head to Settings > About phone > Software update to check manually. Considering the length of time it took Verizon to get the update out, at the very least we can hope there are no bugs, battery drain or memory leak problems to worry about.
