Red Hydrogen One back

The Red Hydrogen One was probably 2018’s most disappointing smartphone, owing to a poor camera experience, ageing spec sheet, and expensive price. But if that doesn’t deter you, then the long-delayed Titanium variant is now available.

The Titanium variant is now shipping from the official website, according to The Verge, and it’ll set you back $1,595. By comparison, the Aluminum version has a $1,295 price tag.

Customers who pre-ordered the Titanium variants before the delay were sent an Aluminum version at no extra cost. And it looks like these customers are indeed receiving their Titanium models too, according to the outlet.

We weren’t all that impressed in our Red Hydrogen One review, as our own Edgar Cervantes bemoaned the average camera, pixelated display, and high price. But Edgar also praised the phone’s glasses-free 3D tech, build quality, and clean UI.

Still, there are much better $1,000+ smartphones out there, such as the HUAWEI P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. Heck, you can even get the likes of the Xiaomi Mi 9 for under $600. Fancy the Red Hydrogen One anyway? Then you can check out the official store listing via the button below.
