This War of Mine: Stories now out on Android, kicks off with Father's Promise DLC

This War of Mine: Stories is now available on Android.

This War of Mine: Stories is a collection of stories that expand on the original This War of Mine that won our Best Android Game Award back in 2015. The PC version features Father’s Promise and The Last Broadcast, with the third episode not yet available. However, Android players only have the Father’s Promise episode available to play, with no mention of whether the other two episodes will also be available.

Father’s Promise puts you in the shoes of Adam, who’s trying to save his daughter from the horrors of war and get out of the war-torn city alive.

As with the original This War of Mine, Father’s Promise includes decision-making that can be morally-ambiguous and difficult. This is not a game for the faint of heart — your decisions have lasting repercussions that dictate how the story flows.

In addition to a new storyline, Father’s Promise also includes four new locations, five reconstructed and remastered locations, and a set of new dialogue and clue-searching systems.

This War of Mine: Stories – Father’s Promise is available as a standalone purchase for $1.99. If The Last Broadcast and the third episode ever make it to Android, we aren’t sure if they’ll just be added alongside Father’s Promise or also sell as standalone releases.
