Telltale reveals Batman screenshots and release window
Many of us can agree that current Batman titles are fun, but can lack in the story line department. Most of it is all about gliding around and beating the bad guys up. But Bruce Wayne has a very interesting story to share, and Telltale aims to take advantage of it in their new game.
Batman – The Telltale Series was first revealed last December, but all we had was a short trailer showing vague conversations and animations. E3 is right around the corner and all game developers are trying to show off their goodies. We’re still not getting all the details, but we are getting a slightly deeper look into the upcoming episodic game in the form of a few screenshots.
Telltale Games is known for making very story-intensive games like The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, The Wolf Among Us and others. In these titles the user can really dig into the plot, make decisions that will affect the future and try to follow characters step by step. With that said, expect Batman – The Telltale Series to be more of a dramatic game, as opposed to using the usual action-packed formula.
The launch of the first episode of season 1 is scheduled for the summer of 2016, with 4 other episodes coming later. You can buy them separately or buy a season pass, of course. It will be launched for PC, Mac, mobile devices and gaming consoles.
Until then, you can keep an eye on the Android Authority home page for more E3 content, and possibly a better look at Batman – The Game Series!
