Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow teaser trailer and gameplay details released

Great news for all you Futurama fans out there. Jam City’s TinyCo has joined forces with the creator of the show Matt Groening and his Curiosity Company to develop an adventure game called Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow. An animated teaser trailer has recently been released, which you can check out below.

The upcoming game will include simulation, combat, galactic exploration, and choose-your-own-adventure mechanics. There are two main settings to choose from. The first is the New New York, where you’ll have to rescue characters, collect special items and materials, and tackle story-driven quests. The second is called Space Adventures, where your mission is to explore as well as battle your way through various planets and nebulas.

On paper, the game sound like a lot of fun and will surely appeal to those who enjoyed watching the Futurama show, which ended in 2013. The developer claims that Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow is coming soon to Android devices but did not mention when exactly.
