Telltale Games is a popular game developer for a reason. They continue to offer games with intricate storylines, beautiful graphics and a unique gameplay style. If you liked their previous titles like The Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead, you’re sure to like the developer’s newest Android release, Tales from the Borderlands. The Borderlands series comes to us from developers Gearbox and 2K, and have previously been released on the PC.

The game is set on Pandora following the events after Borderlands 2, and the game follows Rhys, a ‘suit’ working for gun manufacturer Hyperion, and Fiona, a Pandoran con artist. The two unlikely duo are forced together on the hunt for cash that they both think is theirs. The pair runs into gangsters, bandit lords, and Vault Hunters on their way to find their wealth.

If you’re familiar with other Telltale games, you’ll know exactly what you’re in for. Lots of hilarious dialogue, a unique storyline and point-and-click gameplay. The game is pretty graphic-intensive, though, so be aware that it may not run particularly well on just any device. In fact, the description on the Play Store calls out the Galaxy S2 (Adreno variant) and the Galaxy S3 Mini for running the game particularly slow. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab3 and the original Droid RAZR aren’t even supported.

The first installment of Tales from the Borderlands is available for $4.99. Telltale also plans to release four additional installments at a later date. If you’d like to invest in all of the installments already, you can save some money and purchase them for $14.99. If you’re at all interested in any of Telltale Games’ products, you’ll be sure to like this title. Follow the Play Store link below to download the game, and be sure to watch the trailer as well!
