Watchmaker SKAGEN’s first smartwatch, the SKAGEN Falster, has now been officially released. The Android Wear watch, which we went hands-on with at CES (see the video above), is available in Black Leather, Brown Leather, and Steel Mesh starting at $275 and running up to $295 for the latter variant.

SKAGEN has already ventured into the world of hybrid watches but this is its first fully touchscreen device. It’s a sleek and sturdy wearable with a minimal design, featuring a round, 42 mm OLED watch face and Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip.

Battery capacity and RAM sizes aren’t mentioned on the SKAGEN website, nor is NFC of network support, but it’s likely a Wi-Fi-only watch with a 300 mAh battery. The Falster also features IP67 certification for dust and water resistance (one-meter depth for up to 30 minutes).

In our short time with the unit, we thought it was one of the smoothest Android Wear watches we’ve ever used, with uncluttered watch faces and an accessible interface. You can check out the three models via the button below and read our hands-on SKAGEN Falster review at the link.
