Watch this short action film shot on a Galaxy S23 Ultra

Director Ridley Scott made an appearance at the Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch event earlier this year, shooting a short film with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Now, we’ve got another short film shot with Samsung’s Ultra smartphone.

Korean film director Na Hong-jin used the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to shoot a short action film dubbed Faith. Samsung’s own press release notes that the short film demonstrates the phone’s low-light video credentials. And the trailer for the film indeed shows off some impressive low-light footage.

In saying so, it stands to reason that the film crew used loads of extra equipment like gimbals and lighting rigs. But this would still be a pretty good demonstration of the phone’s video capabilities.

The trailer for Faith is available to watch now, while the short film itself will be posted on Samsung’s YouTube channel at 9:00 PM ET (1:00 AM GMT on March 16).
