What you need to know
Turning on Profile view history in your Privacy settings lets you see which users have looked at your profile in the past 30 days. If you view another person’s profile and they’ve also turned on this setting, they’ll be able to see that you visited. The stalking is mutual, in other words.
Be aware that this feature is only available to users 16 years or older with less than 5,000 followers.
How to see who viewed your TikTok profile
To turn on Profile view history, tap Profile in the bottom-right corner of the app. Next, open the triple-line menu icon in the top-right. (The eye icon to the left lets you see your TikTok profile views once the setting is enabled.)
Select Settings and privacy.
Tap Privacy under Account.
Then scroll down and tap Profile views under the Safety section.
Flip the toggle next to Profile view history to turn the feature on or off.
Can you see who viewed your TikTok videos?
Despite detailing profile views, TikTok doesn’t offer similar info for videos. However, you can see the number of views each of your TikTok videos has accumulated.
While some third-party sites or apps may claim to identify video viewers, the reality is you can only see numbers, or find out who has liked your videos via the notification menu. See our troubleshooting tips if you think the number of views displayed is incorrect.
