What security patch are you running on your phone?
Not sure which Android security patch you’re running on your device? Well, this process can vary slightly, but you can typically find it by visiting the “about phone” section and looking for the “Android security update” field.
For what it’s worth, companies like Samsung are usually pretty quick on the draw, as the July 2022 update has already hit some devices. Samsung and Google also offer up to five years of security patches on some phones. On the other hand, chances are good that you’re no longer receiving security updates if you bought your phone back in 2017 or 2018.
