Samsung's latest Premiere Projector delivers a full 8K TV experience
- Samsung has announced its new 8K projector, the Samsung Premiere 8K.

- There’s no word yet on a release date or price for Premiere.
At CES 2023, Samsung had a ton of announcements to show off, including a ton of new monitors, TVs, and projectors. While there are a lot of great products from Samsung at this show, the Samsung Premiere 8K is definitely one of the most notable.
Dubbed by Samsung as the world’s first 8K ultra-short throw projector, the Premiere can project up to a 150-inch image on any wall in crisp 8K. The new projector features a three-channel triple-laser system that Samsung says provides precise color accuracy and great contrast even in bad lighting conditions.
In addition to 8K quality, the new Premiere 8K supports a screen size 20 inches larger than the previous 4K model, while offering a 40% increase in brightness and a jump from 2,800 ANSI lumens to 4,000. The Premiere 8K also packs a built-in 100W Dolby Atmos speaker for powerful multi-directional sound, so there is no need to connect a soundbar.
Just like the Freestyle, the Premiere 8K is also built around Samsung’s Smart TV experience. This means you get all the apps and features you’d find in Samsung’s 8K TVs.
Gamers will greatly appreciate the 8K display’s split function, which lets you divide the display into 4 sections for multiplayer games. Of course, the feature isn’t just for gaming, as the split function can also be used for news, sports, and other general entertainment.
Samsung has yet to reveal pricing or release details though it’s a safe bet that this one will cost you an arm and a leg.
