Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Touchwiz-1

If you own a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, you’re probably very familiar with Samsung’s Game Launcher and Game Tools applications. If you use these apps regularly, you’ll be happy to hear that a new report claims both apps will soon get a big update with a ton of new features.

According to SamMobile, an incoming update to the Game Launcher will bring a new feature called Game Scene — a full-screen hub where you can find all your installed games in a neat tile format. There will also be a separate area for game notifications to help declutter the user interface a bit. Game Launcher is also getting a dedicated section for trending games, and you’ll be able to mark any game as a favorite or pin games to their current locations.

Game Scene will also come with a feature that lets you subscribe to specific YouTube channels, which will come in handy if you need quick access to a video walkthrough.

Gamers will be able to check RAM consumption at a moment's notice
The update will bring new features to Game Tools as well. Game Tools is getting a new floating button that will appear inside games that will show you battery percentage, free storage, as well as RAM consumption. The report also notes that the ability to record gameplay and share it on social networking platforms will also be come much easier after the update.

We don’t know any official details about this update as of yet, but we’ll of course let you know if we hear anything from Samsung.

Do you use Game Launcher on your Galaxy device? If so, are you excited for this update to arrive?
