TL;DR
  • Images of an alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 unit have leaked.
  • They show off the design of the device in its entirety.
  • The phone reportedly has a smaller footprint, reduced bezels, and a shallower crease.

Samsung is expected to unpack its next set of foldable phones in August. With more than a month to go for the rumored reveal, alleged real-world images of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 have leaked.

Images sourced by TechTalkTV show what looks like a production sample of Samsung’s upcoming clamshell. Its design is almost identical to the Galaxy Z Flip 3, in that you see two vertically stacked rear cameras, a small external display, and an internal punch-hole screen.

The YouTuber, however, points out subtle differences in the new model. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 apparently comes with a “shallower” crease. There’s a brief video showing the phone in its unfolded state, and the crease is indeed less visible than the one on the Z Flip 3.

The phone’s hinge and bezels are also marginally thinner, reducing its overall footprint. The leaker claims that the Z Flip 4 will be lighter than its predecessor.

Elsewhere, the device looks exactly like the leaked renders. The YouTuber also reveals that the phone will house a 3,700mAh battery and 25W charging. Those specs also match what we heard recently from a reliable tipster.

How do you think the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is shaping up? Are you looking forward to buying it, or are you more interested in the Galaxy Z Fold 4? Take our poll and leave us your thoughts in the comments section below.
