Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro leaked render shows off differences from the S27 Ultra

The latest Galaxy S27 Ultra render leaks have shown off a polarizing design that doesn’t seem unique at all. The biggest visible change is the camera island, with the leak suggesting that Samsung could be going for an iPhone 17 Pro-esque camera plateau instead of its hallmark vertical camera setup. Render leaks for the base S27 suggest that the design change isn’t trickling across the lineup. For better or worse, the Galaxy S27 Pro could follow the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s design language, including the camera plateau. This was half-expected, since the Galaxy S27 Pro is said to share most of its specifications with the S27 Ultra, except for the S Pen. Indeed, the S27 Pro renders do not include a slot for the S Pen, and Samsung seems to have swapped the position of the speaker grille and microphone hole, too.

Ice Universe also shared another render on X comparing the bottom edges of the Galaxy S27 Ultra with those of the Galaxy S26 Ultra:

The camera plateau changes are visible in this render, but Ice Universe is highlighting the rounder edge of the frame. These softer edges help make the phone easier to grip than harder-angled ones, so we can expect the Galaxy S27 Ultra (and the Galaxy S27 Pro) to be easier to hold.

On the topic of Samsung flagships, Ice Universe also shared a front render for the Galaxy S27 Plus on X, mentioning that its screen bezel will be narrower than the previous generation:

The Galaxy S26 Plus already has thin bezels, so it’s unlikely most people will notice the Galaxy S27 Plus reducing them even further. Still, that’s one change in the spec sheet over last year that Samsung can boast about.
