Fresh Galaxy A52 and A72 leaks leave little to the imagination
- Marketing materials for the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and A72 5G have leaked.
- They confirm most of the specs and features of the smartphones.
- The 4G variant of the Galaxy A72 has also leaked in an early unboxing video.
Samsung is all set to unveil its latest A-series smartphones on March 17, but the covers have been off them for a while. We’ve seen the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 appear in multiple leaks and rounding those off, tipster Evan Blass has now outed extensive marketing materials for both phones.
The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 look identical in the leaked promotional images. They also have the same colorways — black, blue, purple, and white — making it harder to distinguish one phone from the other.
Additionally, the rear camera housings on the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 mirror each other with four cameras and a flash each. The only difference here is that the A72 seemingly features 3X optical zoom.
Camera specs of the Galaxy A52 are also shown in one of the images. These line up with previous leaks and include a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro shooter. Unfortunately, the camera details of the Galaxy A72 aren’t mentioned here.
That said, OIS will be a common feature on both phones as per Blass’ leak.
One of the main differences between the upcoming Galaxy A duo is the screen size. The marketing materials confirm that the Galaxy A52 has a 6.5-inch Infinity-O display as opposed to the 6.7-inch screen of the Galaxy A72. The latter also boasts a larger 5,000mAh battery capacity, 500mAh more than the former.
Elsewhere, we get to see mentions of 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage for the Galaxy A52. Once again, Blass leaves us in the dark about the RAM and storage options of the Galaxy A72. Both devices are also shown to be IP67 rated for protection from dust and water.

The 4G variant of the Samsung Galaxy A72 also recently posed for the camera in an unofficial unboxing video. The phone looks the same as its 5G counterpart. The YouTuber mentions the camera specs of the device in the video and we believe these will be mimicked on the 5G version of the phone.
Per the clip, the Galaxy A72 4G could see a 64MP + 8MP + 12MP + 5MP setup. The front punch-hole is said to house a 32MP selfie shooter.
Powering the unit in the video is the Snapdragon 720G octa-core chipset, says the YouTuber. The 5G variant is expected to switch this out with the Snapdragon 750G.
All of the above information doesn’t come as a surprise given that we’ve also seen these specs leak from reliable sources before. It’s just more confirmation that Samsung has two solid mid-rangers on its hands.
