According to Netflix’s official press release, the first season of the series will consist of eight episodes. The season will have two main parallel storylines, taking place years apart from each other. One of them will tell the story of twin 14-year old sisters, Jade and Billie Wesker. They will be forced to move by their father to New Raccoon City, and the sisters soon learn that both their father and the city have some very dark secrets.
The second storyline takes place 16 years later. A 30-year-old Jade Wesker has to fight off billions of zombies and monsters that were infected with the T-virus. She also has to protect the few remaining humans on Earth. However, there are still secrets from her family and past that keep haunting her.
