Redmi Note 11 back
  • Redmi has announced that the Redmi Note 11T is coming to India on November 30.
  • This is tipped to be the Redmi Note 11 with a new name.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 series in China late last month, with the vanilla model getting a new design and coming to Europe as the POCO M4 Pro. Now, it would appear that the standard Redmi Note 11 is getting an Indian release, but with a new name once again.

Redmi India tweeted that the so-called Redmi Note 11T 5G will be launching in India on November 30. The company didn’t give out any details, bar claiming it would have features like fast charging, a “swift” display, and a sharp camera. You can view the teaser image below.

However, frequent tipster Ishan Agarwal and 91mobiles claimed that the Redmi Note 11T 5G is a renamed Redmi Note 11.

That means you’re apparently getting a Dimensity 810 5G SoC, 6.6-inch 90Hz LCD panel, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging. The renamed phone is also expected to get a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. A 16MP camera in a punch-hole cutout is set to handle selfies and video calls.

There’s no word on Indian pricing just yet, but the 4GB/128GB model had a recommended price of 1,199 yuan (~$188) in China, all the way up to 1,699 yuan (~$266) for the 8GB/256GB model. So we’d expect a similar price window (if not slightly more expensive) for the Indian market.
