AT&T customers can pick up the Razer Phone 2 later this week
- AT&T announced it is the exclusive carrier of the Razer Phone 2.
- The Razer Phone 2 will be available on AT&T this Friday for either $799.99 or $26.67 a month for 30 months.
Already available as an unlocked smartphone, the Razer Phone 2 will be available on AT&T’s physical and virtual store shelves starting Friday, November 16.
The good news is that the AT&T version of the Razer Phone 2 will not get a price hike; you can either pay the $799.99 that the phone normally costs or $26.67 a month for 30 months with AT&T Next.
Also keep in mind that the Razer Phone 2 on AT&T will only be available in Mirror Black; you can only pick up the Satin Black finish on Razer’s website. What is nice is that the Razer Phone 2 will not sport an AT&T logo either on the front or back.
Finally, the phone will be available in select AT&T stores starting this Friday. Locations include Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, and AT&T’s new lounge concept in Seattle. These locations will also host local gaming events.
AT&T did not say if additional stores will get the Razer Phone 2, though you can just buy the phone online and not have to go in person.
As a refresher, the Razer Phone 2 features a 5.7-inch IGZO IPS display with a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, dual 12-megapixel cameras, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and a 4,000mAh battery. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and omits the headphone jack, though the loud front-facing speakers and included headphone adapter somewhat make up for that omission.
