OPPO Find X specs teased: A match for the top-end OnePlus 6?
- An OPPO Find X teaser image has appeared online, showing specs that are identical to the top-end OnePlus 6.
- The image comes a few days after TENAA apparently published (and then deleted) an OPPO flagship listing.
- The Chinese brand is also expected to bring 5x zoom and faster charging to the new phone.
The mobile tech world is eagerly awaiting the OPPO Find X, the first Oppo flagship device in several years, and we may have just received a look at a few of its key specs.
A Weibo tipster published what seems to be an official OPPO Find X teaser image (seen below), complete with a few specs scattered at the bottom of the image. These specs specifically mention the Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. This would make the Find X a match for the top-end OnePlus 6, which offers the same chipset, RAM, and storage capacity.
This image isn’t the only spec leak for the device in recent days. Supposedly deleted TENAA listings were spotted by Playfuldroid a few days ago, giving us a stack of potential details.
The outlet noted a 2.8Ghz octa-core chipset (the same clock speed as the Snapdragon 845), 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 16MP/20MP dual-camera pairing. Other specs include a 25MP selfie camera and a 3,645mAh battery. We can only wait for the official reveal to find out if these specs are the real deal.

OPPO has also kept up a steady stream of teases on Weibo and Twitter, with several images alluding to a prism of some type. The Chinese brand demonstrated 5x zoom at MWC 2017, using a prism and dual-camera setup to accomplish this. So it looks like the company is ready to actually implement the technology on the OPPO Find X.
We’re also expecting OPPO to deliver an improved take on its VOOC fast charging system, having previously demonstrated Super VOOC Flash Charge tech that tops up a 2,500mAh battery in 15 minutes.
It’s been a while since we saw a new OPPO Find-series phone — the Find 7 was released in 2014. It offered a high-end Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, a removable 3,000mAh battery with fast charging and a QHD screen.
