Limited Edition OnePlus X Ceramic goes on sale in India tomorrow
The limited edition ceramic version of the OnePlus X will go on sale in India tomorrow for Rs. 22,999 (the equivalent of $345). To celebrate the launch, the OnePlus X will be available for one day only (January 8), invite-free with a 10% discount at selected French Connection stores, but only while stocks last.
If you’re in New Delhi, Mumbai or Hyderabad you can head to your local French Connection store between 7-9 pm to grab a OnePlus X Ceramic for just Rs. 20,699 ($310). The first 50 buyers will also score a free Rs. 500 FCUK voucher and gift bag.
If you don’t manage to get one before they run out, on January 9 the OnePlus X will become exclusively available on Amazon India. Unfortunately, that will also see a return to the invite system, so if you’re not a fan of waiting, get to a FC store tomorrow night.
For reference, the OnePlus X Onyx and Champagne editions are available in India for Rs. 16,999, the Rs. 6,000 price difference ($90) might be a bit too steep for some. As OnePlus notes, the ceramic baking process only has a 20% yield rate, meaning 50,000 attempts have to be made to secure the limited edition run of 10,000 devices. The Ceramic edition also has beveled edges rather than rounded, but that’s about it as far as the visual differences go.
Do you think the OnePlus X Ceramic is worth the money?
