OnePlus has always tried to promote its family of smartphones via grassroots community efforts, and now it appears the company wants to promote its brand on all Android devices. OnePlus’ official Community app is available to download from the Google Play Store for any Android phone to access.

In the past, the app was only pre-loaded on OnePlus smartphones with its Android-based Oxygen OS. However, it would appear that the company wants to make itself known across the entire Android ecosystem. It now allows anyone with an Android phone to check out the community news and forums hosted by the company. If you have a Community account, you can sign in via the new Android app and write and comment on any posts in the forums. A future update will add push notifications to the app for any forum alerts.

This app’s debut in the Google Play Store comes less than a week before the company will be announcing its next smartphone. It will be officially revealed on Tuesday, November 15. It has already confirmed that it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor inside, and it is strongly hinting that the name of the phone itself will be the OnePlus 3T.
