The OnePlus 7T launched last week running on Oxygen OS based on Android 10. Now, OnePlus has rolled out the Oxygen OS 10.0.3 software update for the phone. Making the announcement on the company’s forums, a OnePlus staffer said that the update brings multiple camera improvements. Here’s what you get.

OnePlus says that Oxygen OS 10.0.3 enhances the image quality on the OnePlus 7T. It also brings more stability to the camera and improves the overall user experience of the camera app.

We haven’t tested the new camera update on the OnePlus 7T yet, but as we noted in our review, the telephoto lens requires a pretty steady hand because of the lack of OIS. We hope OnePlus has addressed this issue in the OnePlus 7T’s Oxygen OS 10.0.3 update.

OnePlus has been releasing pretty frequent camera updates in the recent past. It did so for the OnePlus 7 Pro, resulting in a major camera quality improvement over time.

Moreover, the new update also brings general bug fixes and other improvements to the 7T.

OnePlus says it is an incremental update and will reach OnePlus 7T users in a few days. Currently, the OTA is available only to a small group of OnePlus 7T users.

If you haven’t yet received the update, you can head over to your OnePlus 7T’s settings to check for it manually. If you have installed the update though, let us know if you see any noticeable differences in image quality and the overall camera experience.
