TL;DR
  • The design of the OnePlus 10 Pro is now confirmed via OnePlus itself.
  • The company showed off the design during CES 2022.
  • As expected, the phone has a unique rear camera module with three lenses.

Over the past few months, we’ve had plenty of leaks related to the next slate of OnePlus flagships. With so much changing at the company, though, we weren’t sure the info we had was going to pan out in reality.

However, during CES 2022, the company today took the wraps off its next star product. We can now officially confirm the OnePlus 10 Pro is on the way and we can also confirm some aspects of its design.

OnePlus 10 Pro secrets revealed

The images above show the 10 Pro in two of its colorways, which are marketed as Volcanic Black and Forest Emerald. Thankfully, the photos prove the OnePlus 10 Pro is keeping the famous OnePlus alert slider, as you can see it on the right side of the phone, centered alongside the rear camera module.

Speaking of that module, it’s a doozy this year. As first seen in leaked renders, the module is recessed into the phone, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. However, it’s squared off with a distinct separation between the top and bottom of the phone, making it appear to float in an asymmetrical spot. This will likely be a “love it or hate it” decision for OnePlus fans.

Interestingly, the images also show the OnePlus 10 Pro has only three lenses on the back. That likely means it would have one wide, one ultrawide, and one telephoto lens. This stands in contrast with the OnePlus 9 Pro, which has a monochrome sensor along with those three lenses. The images also prove the telephoto lens will not have periscope zoom.

Hopefully, we’ll learn more about the OnePlus 10 Pro over the rest of the CES event!
