Google releases November's Android security patch for Pixel and Nexus devices
Google has just begun rolling out November’s Android security patch to all current Pixel and Nexus devices. Both factory images and OTA files are now available on Google’s developer websites, and we should expect over-the-air updates to reach devices in the next few hours.
Android 7.1.0 files have already arrived for the Pixel and Pixel XL with build numbers NDE63U, NDE63V and NDE63X, while Verizon’s Pixel and Pixel XL sport build numbers NDE63X.
Android 7.0.0 factory images are also available for the Pixel C (NRD91N), Nexus 6P (NBD91K), Nexus 5X (NRD91N), Nexus 6 (NBD91P), Nexus Player (NRD91N) and Nexus 9 (NRD91N). The Nexus 6 has also received an Android 6.0.1 security patch for November, which comes in at MMB31C and MOB31K.
You can grab these new factory images at this link, OTA .zip files here, and check out the details on this update at Google’s Android Security Bulletin site.
