The wider release for the Nokia 6 (2018) was confirmed at MWC where HMD Global revealed its line-up for 2018. Two models of the new Nokia 6 will be available in the European market – 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage and 4 GB / 64 GB.

Hands-on with Nokia's new lineup from MWC 2018
Features

As a refresher, the affordable device sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It features a two-tone finish from a single block of aluminum which offers a striking look and a high level of durability.

The mid-tier phone will be available in black and copper, white and iron, and blue and gold, although we are waiting on full availability information for specific regions.

The Nokia 6 (2018) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 chip (a reported 60 percent boost over the original’s Snapdragon 430 processor) and supports fast charging and 360-degree OZO Audio recording technology. It also runs Android Nougat out-of-the-box but was recently updated to Android 8.0 Oreo in China.

On the camera front, it features a 16 MP f/2.0 main shooter on the rear with ZEISS optics, while the selfie camera is an 8 MP shooter. Unlike its direct predecessor, the Nokia 6 (2018) also supports Nokia’s “Bothie” photo mode for dual-sight shots.

There’s still no word on a US release at the time of writing, but we’ll update this post as we hear more. Let us know your thoughts on the ‘new’ Nokia 6 in the comments.
