Fitness trackers and smartwatches don’t usually have a lot of choices in terms of colors and bands, but Fossil’s Misfit brand wants to change that with a new option that’s now available for many of its devices. It’s called M.Y. Misfit (Make Your Misfit), and it is supposed to give customers a way to get up to 600 different combinations for their Misfit product.

Here’s how it works. First, you buy a Misfit device that’s compatible with this new service, such as the Shine 2, Ray, or Phase fitness wearables. It will also be available for the launch of the upcoming Misfit Vapor Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch later this summer. M.Y. Misfit customers can then either pick from a number of pre-created design combinations or make one of their own.

The choices that customers will have include picking from different device colors like Jet, Rose Tone, Silver, Midnight, and Champagne. Then they can pick a custom strap made of materials like silicone, field, paracord, leather, and more. After those selections are made, Misfit will ship the custom designed activity tracker or smartwatch to its new and proud owner.

The company says that the amount of possible design combinations will actually increase to over 1,000 by the end of the year. The only bad part of this deal is that the M.Y. Misfit service costs extra, at $79.99. If you are still interested in making your next fitness wearable look different than everyone else’s device, you can check out the M.Y.
