Unlocked and Amazon Prime exclusive Moto X4 receiving Android 8.1 Oreo update
The Android 8.1 Oreo updates for both versions of the Motorola phone also include the May 2018 Android security updates.
If you own either the unlocked version of the Moto X4 or the one that’s sold by Amazon as an exclusive for its Prime members, you should expect to see an over-the-air update this week that will bring Android 8.1 Oreo to those handsets.

The update, as reported by Droid Life, also comes with the May 2018 Android security updates. Both updates have the software version number of OPW28.2. The Android One version of the Moto X4 received the same update a few weeks ago.
