Meta wants Muse to keep up with ChatGPT and Gemini, and Wonder is how

- Meta has launched Muse Wonder and Wonder Full, its new frontier AI models built for personal and professional agentic tasks.
- The models add features like Active Memory and Active Focus to help agents retain context, work through problems, recover from mistakes, and handle longer-running tasks.
- Muse Wonder is available through Meta’s Model API and Muse Code, while Wonder Full is limited to Muse Code subscribers.
Meta’s Muse arrived last month with an unusually ambitious idea of what an AI assistant should be. Instead of simply answering questions, it can work across apps, draw on personal information, and keep pursuing tasks in the background. We’ve found it surprisingly useful in practice, and now Meta is pushing that vision further with a new generation of models designed to make the agent considerably more capable.
The company has launched Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, its most capable AI models yet, which it describes as frontier models built for personal and professional agents. In a blog post, Meta says they can tackle everything from understanding leases and insurance claims to analyzing financial or health information and building software.

The idea isn’t unique to Meta. OpenAI has Dots, and GPT-6 Astra already made major gains in computer use and software engineering. Google is steadily turning Gemini into an agent, with the upcoming Gemini 4 Argon also posting competitive results across agentic benchmarks. Wonder is Meta’s attempt to make sure Muse has a frontier-class model capable of keeping up in that race.
Meta is highlighting two Wonder features in particular. Active Memory lets the model carry useful information across conversations and retrieve it when relevant, while Active Focus helps it keep working through difficult tasks, try alternative approaches, recover from mistakes, and check in before taking important actions.
Meta’s own evaluations show Wonder and Wonder Full competing strongly with other frontier models across agent, memory, and coding benchmarks. More interestingly, Meta says Wonder Full improves on unfamiliar tasks beyond what its previous Muse Spark models would predict, something that matters when an agent encounters combinations of goals and tools it never saw during training.

Muse Wonder is available now through Meta’s Model API and Muse Code, while Wonder Full is available to Muse Code subscribers. Wonder will also begin powering Muse itself, starting with subscribers.
