The juggernaut that is Marvel is not slowing down. In addition to the movie franchises, television shows, comic books, games, and more, it’s announcing yet another new mobile game.

Marvel Strike Force is a squad-based superhero mobile RPG set in the Marvel Universe. Popular characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Venom, Black Widow, Star-Lord, Gamora, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, and more all make an appearance in Strike Force. You’ll team up with SHIELD’s Nick Fury to take on foes from the past, present, and future Marvel movies.

The game is being developed by FoxNext Games, which is made up of former Kabam team members. You might remember Kabam (formerly Watercooler Inc.) from titles like Marvel: Contest of Champions which grossed $100 million in revenue in just its first seven months. It’s also known for releases like The Hobbit and Kingdoms of Camelot. This will be the first release from its new Los Angeles game studio.

No details on price or release date for Marvel Strike Force have been announced yet beyond the vague “2018”. For Marvel fans, this is a new entry into a market that has already seen everything from endless runners to pinball games. Can this one stand out in the crowd? We’ll have to see once it hits the Play Store.

There’s a pre-registration page up already with some perks for signing up. For handing over your contact details (Facebook login required), you’ll receive 500 power cores, 50,000 gold, and 3-star Daredevil. Since we have no idea what the in-game economy is going to look like, we have no idea how good those rewards but at least you’re just signing up for a mailing list you can opt out of later.
