The V30 is LG's first smartphone to support Daydream VR

LG's high-end V30 is the company's first device to join the list of Daydream-ready smartphones.

The LG V30 has been announced today, and it’s a beast of a phone. One of its standout features is the big 6-inch P-OLED display with Quad HD+ resolution. Thanks to the low refresh rate OLED displays typically have, the V30 is actually Daydream-ready, making it the first LG device to support Google’s VR platform.

This means that the phablet is compatible with Google’s Daydream View headset and can run Daydream apps that allow you to immerse yourself in the world of VR. Of course, the V30 isn’t the only Daydream-ready smartphone on the market, although there aren’t really that many of them to choose from right now.

Reviews
Not only does the V30 impress with top-of-the-line specs and a gorgeous design, it’s also a great option for all you VR fans out there

The list also includes the Google Pixel and Pixel XL, ASUS ZenFone AR, HUAWEI Mate 9 Pro, Axon 7, and Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the latter of which received Daydream support via a software update last month.

Not only does the V30 impress with top-of-the-line specs and a gorgeous design, it’s also a great option for all you VR fans out there. There are plenty of Google Daydreams app and games out there to choose from, with more on their way every day.
