LG is taking Android security seriously. The company has just announced a new website to be managed by its in-house Product Security Response Team (PSRT) that aspires to be a one-stop-shop for all things security. From threat reporting to security bulletins and response feedback, the portal aims to help all LG owners stay on top of the rapidly changing security landscape.

It’s an encouraging sign to see a company provide a single location for reporting possible security issues with its products, staying up to date on the latest security news and keeping abreast of the company’s response to existing threats. LG is adamant that the best way to keep everyone safe is to work together and remain transparent.

The site is live now and features four main sections: general LG security news, a breakdown of LG’s security response process, periodical security bulletins relating to specific vulnerabilities in LG products and details on how to report any security issues you may come across. The site will also cover general Android vulnerabilities shared by Google’s own security team. If you own an LG product you might want to bookmark the page for future reference.
