Mobile payments are pretty convenient, allowing you to leave your bank card at home if need be. And virtually all smartphones are capable of supporting this tech in some capacity, provided they have a camera or NFC capabilities.

When was the last time you used mobile payments?
We can see why you’d use mobile payments very often as it’s extremely convenient. Newer Samsung phones even included MST technology to emulate magnetic card swipes on older card machines that didn’t support NFC. Then again, mobile payment tech might be unfamiliar for some less tech-savvy people. So we can see why you might stick with a traditional bank card.
Me? I’ve used QR code payments on the odd occasion when visiting open air markets but started using NFC-based payments regularly after Google Pay/Wallet finally launched here.
