GTA V iFruit Android app finally available for download
More than a month after releasing the iOS version, Rockstar Games has launched the Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA V) iFruit companion app for Android devices.
Available as a free download from the Google Play Store for devices running Android 3.0 or later, the app lets users interact with their GTA V world straight from the smartphone and/or tablet:

The app offers access to GTA V news, the Rockstar Games Social Club, LifeInvader and other Rockstar Games apps.
Most interestingly, iFruit lets you customize your GTA V ride straight on your mobile device. Customizations include “personalized plates,” but also paint jobs for various parts of your car and overall improvements for others.
Lastly, a Chop the Dog feature / in-app game lets you virtually take care of Chop, the dog, the dog of Franklin. Dog activities will result in better Chop performance inside the game, assuming you treat him nicely on a regular basis:
- He will be more helpful and responsive to Franklin
- He will perform tricks such as sitting, begging and giving paw if properly trained through the app
- He will sniff out the nearest hidden items when the player takes him for a walk
- Earn enough credits through walks and proper caretaking and exchange them for new collars for Chop
The app currently has a 3.3 star rating out of around 1,200 reviews. Have you tried it yet? What do you think of iFruit?
