Google Play Gift Cards are now available in India

If you happen to live in India and would like to purchase a Google Play Gift Card, your time has finally come. Google has just announced physical Google Play cards are now available in select Spice Hotspot, Vijay Sales, Planet M, Planet Mobile and Sangeetha Mobiles locations in India. You can purchase the cards in ₹750, ₹1000 and ₹1500 amounts, and you’ll also be able to buy them from Snapdeal.com, even as COD shipments.

This news follows Google’s June announcement that Google Play prepaid vouchers were soon heading to select Vijay Sales and Spice Hotspot stores in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Jaipur. Prepaid vouchers are basically Google Play redemption codes. Now physical Google Play cards are available in the country as well, which will be much better for giving gifts.
