Google Pixel 4 XL Standing Render

Google just can’t stop the Pixel 4 leaks! Just today we’ve seen teases of new camera features and a fresh orange colorway, but now we’ve got an even bigger leak with what appears to be an official Google Pixel 4 video advert.

The leak comes via ProAndroid which has obtained an off-screen recording (reportedly captured by an unnamed Facebook user) of the ad for the fourth generation Pixel phones. We’ve embedded the video above for your viewing pleasure, though hopefully we see a better quality version soon.

The incredibly colorful ad doesn’t really tell us anything we don’t know already, but we do get an “official” glimpse of the phone in white (with that tasty black frame that leaked recently) and a sense of how Google will be approaching the Pixel 4 marketing campaign.

Google appears to be running with the “made the Google way” tagline for the Pixel 4, highlighting that, hey, that company that makes Search, YouTube, and Google Maps also makes phones!

We get a quick look at the Soli touch-less gestures which are set to be among the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL’s headline features, a quick reminder that Google Assistant is really smart, and finally a brief peek at the camera — specifically Night Sight with what appears to be an upgrade that captures stars in the night sky.

While the leak floodgates are wide open at this stage, we still don’t know when the Pixel 4 series will launch. The smart money is on October as that’s when Google typically rolls out new hardware, but we’re still waiting on official confirmation. In the meantime, check out all the Pixel 4 rumors so far right here.
