Google and its partners have frequently given away smart speakers to people in the last year or so, and it isn’t stopping with the festive season upon us. Yes, the company is now giving away Nest Mini speakers to Google Fi users.

The offer was received via email by several Android Authority writers and allows you to claim one free Nest Mini if you’re a US resident and your account is in “good standing.”

The terms note that this applies to Fi users who’ve subscribed to the service from December 9 or before then. In other words, you can’t sign up today in order to gain the smart speaker. Google’s terms also state that you need to have active service and that the promotion ends on December 31 at 11:59PM PT (or while stocks last).

Google’s Nest Mini is a second-generation mini speaker, following in the footsteps of 2016’s Home Mini. The Nest Mini differs from the first-generation device by offering a wall mount and higher quality sound. But the one downside is that the new speaker uses a proprietary charging pin compared to the Home Mini’s microUSB connection.

In any event, you can’t go wrong with a free smart speaker in the first place. So check the Fi app to claim your free Nest Mini if you’re an existing Fi user.
