Gmail dynamic email launches in July 2019.

Dynamic email could be one of the most helpful additions to Gmail in recent years, allowing you to fill out forms and more right within your email window. Now, Google has announced that the feature will be available to all users from July, following a beta testing period earlier this year.

The company made the announcement via its G Suite Updates blog, revealing that the feature will be “generally available” from July 2. So what exactly does this feature do?

Dynamic email allows you to take action within an email message itself, such as RSVPing to an event, filling out a survey, browsing a catalog, and responding to comments. The technology is built on the Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) framework, a webpage technology that delivers lightning-fast load times on smartphones and tablets.

Aside from being more convenient than visiting a website, it’s also more secure in theory as Google needs to vet companies before they can take advantage of the feature. Some of the more prominent companies to receive approval include Booking.com, Pinterest, and Doodle.

The feature will be enabled by default from July 2, but you’ll need to enable the display external images option if you haven’t done so already. Don’t care for the feature? Then you can disable it via settings > dynamic email.

Dynamic email is currently available on the web, but Google says it’ll be available on mobile “soon.” What else would you like to see in Gmail? Let us know in the comments!
