Google removes the age barrier for Gemini study notebooks

If you’re studying and don’t know where to start or what to focus on next, Google recently released something to solve this dilemma. Known as Gemini study notebooks, it can create a personalized study plan based on the notes, syllabus, and course materials you upload. Being such a helpful learning tool, it only makes sense to bring it to more students.

In a new blog post, Google announced that it is expanding access to study notebooks. Now, users of all ages who are signed into a school or work-issued Google account can take advantage of the tool. However, the user’s admin will need to enable the Gemini app and Gemini Notebook first.

A few things you’ll be able to do with study notebooks include creating new notebooks, progress check quizzes, and custom lessons. You’ll also be able to check out a dynamic dashboard that sorts your goals into categories, like “Strengths” and “Focus areas.” This way, you can shore up any gaps in your knowledge.

Google has already started the rollout, but the company warns that it could take up to 15 days before visibility. While study notebooks is available to Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and personal Google accounts, it’s not currently available to those in the European Economic Area (EEA). However, Google says support will rollout to the EEA in the coming weeks.
