Oct 20, 2026 — 12:14 PM ET
- Leaked screen protectors offer an early look at the Galaxy S27, S27 Plus, and S27 Ultra, suggesting familiar front designs.
- Rumored screen sizes range from 6.27 inches for the base S27 to 6.89 inches for the Ultra, with the S27 Plus sitting in between.
- The rumored Galaxy S27 Pro is missing from the images, despite reports suggesting it could join the lineup in 2027.
Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series is shaping up to have its own share of pre-release drama. Last year, leaks suggested the Galaxy S26 lineup was going through something of an identity crisis, with conflicting reports about the fate of the Edge, Pro, and Plus models. Now, we’re seeing a familiar pattern unfold, with rumors suggesting Samsung could expand its flagship family to four phones in 2027. Questions also remain about potential hardware downgrades, and last-minute component decisions could complicate the launch timeline. Amid this uncertainty, a new leak offers another preview of what the upcoming phones might look like from the front.
The folks at SammyGuru have obtained images of alleged screen protectors for the Galaxy S27, S27 Plus, and S27 Ultra. The images show both clear and privacy tempered glass protectors lined up side-by-side, revealing the expected size differences between the three phones.
Previous rumors suggested the standard Galaxy S27 will feature a 6.27-inch display, while the S27 Plus could step up to 6.66 inches. The S27 Ultra is expected to remain the biggest of the bunch, with a 6.89-inch screen. These figures suggest Samsung is sticking fairly close to the familiar size differences between its flagship models.
More interestingly, the protectors imply Samsung isn’t planning any dramatic changes to the front design. All three have rounded corners and centered punch-hole cutouts for the selfie cameras, much like their predecessors. The Ultra also appears to retain the softer corners Samsung adopted with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
There’s one notable absentee, though: the rumored Galaxy S27 Pro. Earlier leaks claimed this fourth model could feature a 6.47-inch display and several Ultra-level features, but it isn’t represented in these images. That doesn’t necessarily mean Samsung has abandoned the device, especially since other reports still point to its arrival.
We know screen protectors aren’t the most reliable indicator of a phone’s final design. Accessory manufacturers sometimes work with preliminary dimensions, and these images don’t reveal anything about bezel thickness. Still, they suggest Samsung may be keeping the familiar Galaxy S look, even as the lineup itself prepares for a shake-up.
