New Galaxy A18 leak marks several differences from previous leaks

Over the last couple of months, Galaxy A18 leaks have been trickling in, telling us about Samsung’s next budget smartphone. Due to those leaks, we’ve been able to piece together what to expect from the device, like the design, two storage options, and three colorways. However, a new leak now puts some of those details into question.

The folks over at Dealabs have leaked the specs for the Galaxy A18, or at least the specs for the model arriving in France. According to the report, there are several differences between this leak and previous leaks.

As mentioned earlier, it was previously rumored that there would be two storage options: 128GB or 256GB. It appears that the 4G model may only come with 128GB of storage. However, the outlet suggests that a 256GB option could be available in other regions.

In terms of chipset, leaks have been all over the place. We’ve heard Samsung could use Qualcomm, MediaTek, or one of its own SoCs. This leak suggests the company will opt for the Exynos 1610.

Additionally, the leak reveals that the front camera could use a 13MP lens. Finally, it’s said that the device could sell for €279 (~$322) in France, which would be €20 cheaper than previous leaks suggested. Keep in mind that the price in the US may not match the price in Europe.

Samsung has yet to announce the Galaxy A18. It’s currently unknown when the tech giant plans to launch the budget handset. Samsung announced the Galaxy A17 5G for the US on December 30, 2025, and followed with a release on January 7, 2026. The company could follow a similar pattern for the Galaxy A18.
