TL;DR
  • Fitbit is reportedly planning to launch its “most elegant” fitness tracker called the Fitbit Luxe.
  • The band is expected to come with an OLED screen wrapped in a metal housing.
  • It’s rumored to come in three color variants with several replaceable strap options.

Fitbit is reportedly planning to unveil a new fitness tracker called the Fitbit Luxe. According to WinFuturethe company claims it’ll be the “most elegant” Fitbit to date.

Images shared by the publication show the rumored Fitbit Luxe in black, white, and pink colorways. The OLED display of the fitness tracker is what seems most striking. It reportedly has a stainless steel housing that we’ve not seen on Fitbit bands before.

The straps of the Fitbit Luxe use a classic buckle clasp, and according to the leak, users will be able to switch them out with replacements.

Unfortunately, WinFuture couldn’t provide any more details about the Fitbit Luxe in terms of technical specs. However, the outlet presumes that they would be very similar to the Fitbit Ace 3.

The leak also reveals that the Luxe would feature heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and stress monitoring, in addition to activity tracking.

The tracker is said to provide vibration alerts when you reach your desired heart-rate zone during workouts. GPS is expected to be a connected module instead of being a standalone feature. That means you’ll have to rely on your smartphone to map your walks, runs, or cycling routines.

Lastly, the Luxe is believed to come with an official waterproof certification for activities like swimming.

There’s no word on the price and availability of the new Fitbit just yet. We’ll update this article if and when we know more.
