If you’re looking for a cheap family plan with unlimited data, you might want to consider Cricket. Cricket, the MVNO that is owned by AT&T and runs on its towers, is now offering four lines on its Unlimited 2 plan for just $100.

Although it sounds like a great deal, there are some drawbacks. First off, your data speeds cap at 3 Mbps. That’s down from the normal 8 Mbps that Cricket caps data speeds at for most lines. Additionally, video streaming tops out around standard definition (480p), and speeds will throttle down even further once you hit 22 GB in any given month if Cricket is experiencing network congestion. This is commonly referred to as data deprioritizing, and pretty much every carrier does it. The only difference is how much data you can use before you run into the soft cap. T-Mobile is on the high end at 50 GB, where Cricket comes in near the bottom with 22 GB.

With the Unlimited 2 plan, you get unlimited texts from the US to 38 countries. If you happen to travel to Mexico or Canada, you’ll still have access to data, unlimited calling, and texting. You can grab the plan for $100, but if you don’t need four lines, you can grab two for just $80. Unlimited 2 plan lines usually run $55 per line, so whether you get two or four lines, it’s still going to save you quite a bit of money.

If you’re interested in switching to Cricket, hit the button below. The new four lines for $100 plan will kick off tomorrow, December 1, but you can get the two lines for $80 deal right now.
