OPPO Reno colorOS 6

According to the official Color OS Weibo account (via Gadgets360), the Color OS Android 10 update is right around the corner. A new image shared by that account gives a launch date of two weeks from today.

The Color OS Android 10 update will land as Color OS 7 at a launch event in Beijing. The exact time of the launch is 2:30 PM CST (1:30 AM ET) on November 20, 2019.

If that date sounds familiar, that’s because November 20 is the same date that realme — a subsidiary of OPPO — will launch the realme X2 Pro at a different event in India. It is therefore very likely that realme will announce the rollout of Color OS 7 to specific realme devices at that event.

We don’t know which OPPO devices will see this Android 10 update. However, it’s a pretty sure bet that the flagship OPPO Reno 10X Zoom will get it, as well as the newest OPPO Reno 2. It’s possible that OPPO will give more details about which phones will see the Color OS Android 10 upgrade at its event on November 20.

Color OS isn’t the most-loved of Android skins on the market since it looks and feels a lot like iOS. It will be interesting to see if OPPO can fix up the operating system’s reputation with the Android 10 upgrade.

Do you have an OPPO or realme phone that will likely get the Android 10 update? What feature(s) are you hoping for the most? Let us know in the comments.
