TL;DR
  • OpenAI is rolling out ChatGPT Slides to turn your chats, files, and outlines into presentations.
  • Multiple team members can collaborate on ChatGPT presentations in real time.
  • ChatGPT Slides is available on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans.

OpenAI announced ChatGPT Space last month, with tools like Pages, Slides, and Sheets. The company said at the time that Slides and Sheets would roll out later. A few weeks later, OpenAI is finally rolling out Slides in ChatGPT.

In a post on X from the official ChatGPT account, the company announced several ChatGPT Slides features that are now available. You can now ask ChatGPT to create a presentation from your conversation, files, or outline, or get started with one of several built-in templates.

Once the deck is ready, you can share it with your team just as you would in Google Slides. Invited users can work together on the deck in real time, making changes and leaving feedback. You can also ask ChatGPT to automatically make adjustments based on your team’s feedback.

When you’re satisfied with the presentation, ChatGPT lets you open it directly in apps like PowerPoint and Google Slides. You can also download it as a PDF or export it as a PowerPoint file.

ChatGPT Slides is available right now to users on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans. If you’re on an eligible plan, you can get started right away simply by asking the AI assistant to “create ChatGPT slides” from a file or conversation. ChatGPT Plus users currently don’t have access to ChatGPT Slides. However, since Slides is a part of ChatGPT Space, which is limited to Pro, Business, and Enterprise users, it isn’t surprising that Plus users are left out.
