Andy is a practised technology journalist with nearly a decade of experience. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, he started his career writing for a local publication that explored the melting pot of internet culture. Since joining Android Authority in 2020, he has covered a wide range of topics, from breaking smartphone news and wearable reviews, to how-to guides and thorough explainers. He now enjoys uncovering and penning his thoughts about lesser-known Android apps.
Beyond the digital world, Andy holds an honors degree in psychology and English literature. He’s also an avid gardener with over 150 plants crammed into his apartment. When he’s not tending to his green companions, he’s improvising in the kitchen, visiting his local thrift market, or managing Manchester United from his couch.
