If you’re an iPhone owner trying to use YouTube today, you probably wondered what was happening. It turns out there was an issue that was causing the app to crash. But now the problem should be fixed according to YouTube.
Earlier today, iPhone users flocked to Twitter to report issues with YouTube. Apparently, when attempting to open YouTube on iOS, the app would reportedly crash shortly after. Neither closing out of the app nor restarting it fixed the situation either.
The number of users affected by the bug grew large enough this afternoon that Team YouTube on Twitter acknowledged the issue and said that a fix is on the way.

Apple’s iPhones weren’t the only iOS devices experiencing the problem either. The bug was found on the iPad and the tvOS app for Apple TV as well. Additionally, it seems some are also reporting the issue on YouTube Music.
Despite the mess, it looks like YouTube has pushed out a fix, according to the company’s Twitter account.
